Betty Lou Wilkey, 85, passed from this life on Sunday, May 6, 2012.She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul J. and Rena Gann; her husband, J. Ralph Wilkey and grandson, Christopher J. Wilkey.She is survived by one daughter, Paulette Thompson and husband, Rick; one son, Gary Wilkey and wife, Starla; grandaughters, Shelly Martin, Ryan Smitty, Lacey and Constance Twomey; five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.She was a lifelong member of Woodland Park Baptist Church in Chattanooga.A memorial service will be held at the Church at 6 p.m. today, May 10, 2012, with Dr. Larry Draper presiding.Memorial gifts may be made to Hospice of the Valley located in Decatur, Ala.
