Debbie Ruhling Gallagher, 44, of Signal Mountain, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 10, 2012.Debbie was born in Kettering, Ohio and graduated from Collegedale Academy. She attended Chattanooga State, UTC and graduated from Southern Adventist University where she received her nursing degree. Debbie was employed with Erlanger Hospital for several years and was a member of St. Timothys Episcopal Church. Debbie enjoyed spending time with her family, running (at Collegedale Academy where she still holds two track records) and gardening.She was preceded in death by her cousin, Robert Clemons; and an uncle, Willard J. Clemons.Debbie is survived by her husband, Dr. Michael Gallagher; her children, Brent and Tyler Carmichael, Molly, Allie and Ryan Gallagher; mother, Linda Breedlove and her husband, James; father, Richard Ruhling MD; brothers, David Ruhling, his wife, Diane and their children, Elisabeth and Seth, John, Danny and Paul Ruhling; sister, Esther Ruhling and her children, Raquel, Chelsey and Emme; grandfather, Bruce Wickwire and his wife. Adele; and a grandmother, Leola Wickwire.The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the North Chapel.A Memorial Service for Debbie will be held at 3 p.m. on Tuesday at St. Timothys Episcopal Church, 630 Mississippi Ave. on Signal Mountain, with the Rev.
