Rodney Dickey

ROSSVILLE Rodney Marvin "Roger" Dickey, 61, departed this life Tuesday, May 15, 2012.He was born in Chattanooga to the late Walker and Nora Dickey, and served in the United States Army. He was also preceded in death by his son, Joshua Dickey.Survivors include his children, Chris (Aleta) Dickey, Chrystal (Michael) Plott, all of Ringgold, siblings, Karen Bradley, of Rossville, Scotty Lewis, of Red Bank, Jimmy Lewis, of Chickamauga; grandchildren, Abbey, Savannah, Jordan, Mason, Alivia; and several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held noon Friday, May 18, 2012 in the chapel with Bishop Steve Smith officiating.Family will receive friends after 5 p.m. today and prior to the service Friday.A private burial will be held at a later date.Arrangements are by W.L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home-Fort Oglethorpe.
