Daniel Holloway

Daniel Garland Holloway, 30, of Signal Mountain, Tenn., passed away Thursday, May 17, 2012.He was preceded in death by his brother, Derrick Alexander Holloway; grandmother, Vera Holloway; grandmother, Polly Ferguson. Daniel grew up in Alabama and had attended Auburn University. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and was a huge Auburn fan, "War Eagle". His greatest love and joy came from being with his wife, Emily and daughter, Leslie. He was dedicated to serving as general manager for Southern Tool Steel.He was a member of Signal Mountain Presbyterian Church.Survivors include his wife, Emily Faidley Hollowaydaughter, Leslie Anne Holloway, both of Signal Mountain, Tenn.; father and step mother, Ricky and Kristie Holloway, of Hixson, Tenn.; mother and step-father, Pamela and Phil Conville; two sisters, Melissa Anne Holloway, Amanda Leigh Holloway; step brother, Shawn Petruzella, all of Birmingham, Ala.; grandparents, Jesse and Clara Simmons, of Hixson, Tenn.; grandmother, Nancy Hale, of Soddy Daisy, Tenn.; grandparents, Jerry and Jan Bauer, of Michigan; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Thomas and Susan Faidley, of Signal Mountain, Tenn.; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Faidley; and niece, Ellie Faidley-Solars, both of New Jersey.Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., today at the Signal Mountain Presbyterian Church with Dr. William E. (Bill) Dudley officiating.
