FORT OGLETHORPE Edna Erlene Sargent, 71, passed away Saturday, May 19, 2012 at her home.She was a homemaker, and Member of Cloud Springs Baptist Church.Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Robert Sargent; Sons, Marroll (Sandy) Sargent and Michael (Britt) Sargent, all of Fort Oglethorpe; brothers, Franklin, Melvin, Eugene and Glen Phillips; sister, Wanda Mae "Oma" Joiner; two grandchildren, Misty Fields and Elliot Sargent and several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday May 21, in the Heritage Funeral Home Chapel, Fort Oglethorpe with Rev.
