Victor Ford

Victor Ford went to be with his Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, May 17, 2012.He lived 97 years and is rejoicing in joining his wife of 71 years, Lorraine, in heaven. He lived the first 70 years of his life in Pennsylvania and then moved to Chattanooga to be near his grandchildren. He was an active member of South Seminole Baptist Church, loved to play golf and was the ultimate handyman. He spent the last year of his life at the Morning Pointe Lantern facility where he was well loved and cared for.He is survived by two daughters, Dianne Worthington, of Ayden, N.C. and Deb Gruner, of Chattanooga, and their spouses, Milton and Brad; seven grandchildren, Rebekah Seymour, Ruth Thornberry, Rachel White, James Worthington, Jason Gruner, Joshua Gruner and Heidi Gruner; and 14 great-grandchildren.Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. today at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel.
