Gary Roache

Gary Alvin Roache, 64, of Chattanooga, passed away Monday, May 14, 2012, of natural causes.He was born in July of 1947 to Juanita and Robert Roache in Kingsport, Tenn. A 1965 graduate of Lynn View High School, he received a B.S. in biology in 1974 from East Tennessee State University. He was a U.S. Army veteran having served in Vietnam from 1966 to 1968. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert E. Roache.Survivors include his son, Josh Roache, of Kingsport; daughter, Misty (Tim) Haxton, of Decatur, Ga.; mother, Juanita Roache, of Kingsport; brothers, Elmer (Shirley) Roache, of Elizabethton; Edgar (Carol) Roache; and Roger Roache, all of Kingsport along with several nieces and nephews.He will be laid to rest at Mountain Home National Cemetery in Johnson City, Tenn., with a private military service.Thank you to all of his friends in the Chattanooga area for providing a home and family for many years.Please visit www.lanefh.com to share condolences.Arrangements by Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace.
