POWELLS / CROSSROADS Earl Eugene Venable, 79, died Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012, at a Chattanooga hospital. He was a member of Whitwell Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kay Frances Jones Venable; son, Dennis Eugene Venable; parents, Earl and Orvella Venable; brother, Curtis Venable; sister, "Sis" Phillips.He is survived by daughters, Kathy (Michael) Smith, Gardendale, Ala., Karen (David) Hall, Powells Crossroads, Tenn.; grandchildren, Kirk Landon (Iesa) Smith, Allison Marie Hall and Lori Dennis Hall; great-grandchildren Hailey Alexia Smith and Hunter Landon Smith.Funeral services will be held Monday, Nov. 5, at 11 a.m. CST in the funeral home chapel.
