Geraldine VonSchaaf

Geraldine H. VonSchaaf, 89, of North Chattanooga and of Hixson, went to be with her Lord and Savior. She died peacefully with her children at her bedside on Thursday, Nov. 1, 2012.Geraldine was a homemaker, Loving mother and one of 13 children in her family.Geraldine loved her church, and was a active member of the Red Bank Baptist Church and the adult IV Snyder class. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Jack Richeson Sr., David Von Schaaf; father and mother, Clarence D. and Annie B. Hilliard and several brothers and sisters.Survivors are her daughter, Olivia McBrayer; sons, Jack (Gail) Richeson Jr., Donnie (Teresa) Richeson; grandchildren, Lorie Marsh, Daniel (Melissa) Richeson, of Merritt Island, Fla., Angela (David) Dykes, Michael (Michelle) McBrayer; 10 grandchildren; sisters, Betty (Bud) Bailey, Jeanette (Gene) Fults; brother, C.D. (Jerri) Hilliard.The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2:30 p.m. today, Nov. 4, at the funeral home.Funeral services will be held 2:30 p.m. today, at the North Chapel Chattanooga Funeral Home with the Rev.
