Vernice Jackson

CLEVELAND Vernice Gravitt Jackson, 81, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012, in a Cleveland health care facility.She was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Rose Gravitt and was also preceded in death by a brother, Leon Gravitt. Mrs. Jackson was a loving wife mother and grandmother.She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Edwin Jackson, her daughter, Vickie Sharp and her husband, Andy, her son, Larry Jackson and his wife, Donna, all of Cleveland; grandchildren and their spouses, Timothy and Chrystal Sharp, Derrick and Diane Jackson, Christina and Eric McKenzie, all of Cleveland, Jeff and Katie Jackson, of Conroe Texas; great-grandchildren, Brianna Jackson, Tucker Sharp, Baylon Jackson, Bryson Jackson and Lexi McKenzie, all of Cleveland, Sydney Jackson, Ellie Jackson, both of Conroe Texas; stepgreat-grandchildren, Daykota Smallen and Gracie Turner. She is also survived by her sister, Almedia Smith and her husband, Benny, of Quebec, Tenn.; and her brother, Clarence Gravitt and his wife, Tootsie, of Dayton Tenn.; several nieces and nephews also survive.A Remembrance of Life Service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday at the North Ocoee St. Chapel of the Jim Rush Funeral Homes with Rev.
