Lou Jessie Chain, 76, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012, at a local hospice facility.She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Chain; children, Tommy and Rose Mary Chain; and sister, Irene Shelton.She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Melvin, Paul, Lucille, Gwenevera Chain and Linda, Elaine, Darren, Charles Dewayne Davis and Marcia Key; brother, Henry Allen (Naomi) Hubert "Buddy", of Sparta, Ga.; 16 grandchildren and 43 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012, in the Chapel.Interment in Highland Cemetery.The body will lie in state after noon today and the family will receive friends from 67 p.m. at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Avenue, 622-9995.
