Ann Hutsell

Ann Kilgore Hutsell, 87, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2012, at Parkwest Hospital, Knoxville.Preceded in death by her husband, Melvin L. Hutsell; parents, John and Dora Kilgore; sister, Ruby Carter; and brother Bud Kilgore. Ann is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Susan; grandson and wife, Adam and Dianna; and great-grandson Mason Grey.Ann moved from Chattanooga to Knoxville in 2007 to be closer to her family, but always considered Chattanooga her home.Ann enjoyed watching the Food Network channel, reading, hanging out with the ladies in her apartment complex, decking out in her orange to watch UT Football and especially visiting with great-grandson, Mason, whose pictures adorned her apartment and would show off to everyone who came into her apartment. Masons visits brightened her day.Ann also enjoyed talking to her nephew, Mike Carter; niece, Sherry James; and relatives, Martha Norris and Lamar Beaird. They were always great to call and check on her and see how she was doing.Ann will come back to Chattanooga and be placed beside Melvin in a private ceremony at Greenwood Cemetery Nov. 12, 2012.
