Berchard Louie Glant, 90, of Chattanooga passed away at his home, Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012.Louie was a member of Red Bank Presbyterian Church and retired from Combustion Engineering with 31 years of service. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in WW II, where he was wounded and received the Purple Heart. Veterans were very special to Louie and he volunteered for the VA Office and had been Service Officer and State Commander for the Military Order of Purple Heart. He was a member of the Masons, Shriners, American Legion and V.F.W.He was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra.Survivors are daughters, Kelly Liner, Pam Glant and Judith Ann Glant; son, Zane Glant; four grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
