Bonnie Roberson

LaFAYETTE Bonnie Fite Roberson, 86, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012.She was born to the late John Milton Fite and Lola Mae Black Fite on May 5, 1926 in Fort Payne, Ala.Bonnie worked as an accountant, was a member of LaFayette First Baptist Church and she enjoyed reading, sewing and crafts. She also was preceded in death by her husband, John T. Roberson Sr.; and her brother, John William Fite.Survivors include her son, John T. Roberson Jr. and his wife, Linda, of Chickamauga; sister, Evoline Nix; two grandchildren, Samantha Frias and Tania Fullington; and two great-grandchildren, Gavin and Cecelia Frias.The family will begin receiving friends at noon Saturday, Nov. 17, with a funeral service to follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.Interment will follow in LaFayette Memory Gardens.Online guestbook available at www.wilsonfuneral home.comArrangements are by Wilson Funeral Homes, LaFayette Chapel.
