David Roberson

David Harold Roberson, 51, of Ooltewah, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012, after a battle with cancer.He drove a truck for McKee Bakery and Wal-Mart and also did HVAC work. He enjoyed hunting, farming, his faithful dog, Ransom and his twin granddaughters who called him "papaw." He was a member of Ooltewah United Methodist Church and Limestone Masonic Lodge in Birchwood.He was predeceased by his brother, Jerry Roberson; grandparents, Bill and Ruth Carpenter and Carl and Ruth Roberson; and an uncle, Franklin Roberson.Survivors include his daughter, Devin Nicole Roberson; twin granddaughters, Bailee and Kinlee Roberson-Naff; son, Jake Roberson; parents, Harold and Carolyn Roberson; sister, Alice (Greg) Ehmig; brother, Steve (Janna) Roberson; sister-in-law, Lisa Roberson and several nieces and nephews.In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society (cancer.org), American Diabetes Association (diabetes.org) or Hospice of Chattanooga.Family and friends will gather from 4 -7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 16, in Ooltewah United Methodist Church to celebrate his life.Send condolences at www.CovenantFuneral.com.
