Gary Ann Broom, 62, of Chattanooga, passed Saturday, Nov. 10 2012, in a local hospital.She accepted Christ at an early age and in January of 2011 she joined Greater Faith Temple Baptist Church under the pastorate of Rev. Dr. Nathaniel Carter. She attended Riverside High School. She resided in Houston, Texas, for several years.She was preceded in death by her father, J.D. Broom; sister, Patricia Broom; aunt and uncle Johnnie Mae Daniels and Clarence Daniels Sr.She leaves to cherish her memories mother, Mildred Broom; two sons, Anthony Bernard Broom and Travis Broom; goddaughter, Darlene Toney; grandchildren, Quintos Broadnax, Anthony Broom II and Willetrim Stewart (Lil Momma); four great-grandchildren; sisters, Linda Bibbins and Loyett Owens, all of Chattanooga; brother, Wayne Broom, Houston Texas.Homegoing Service: at 1:30 p.m. Saturday Nov. 17, 2012, at Greater Faith Temple, 652 E. 10th St. with the Rev. Dr. Nathaniel Carter officiating. Burial: Tyner Cemetery.The body will lie in state from 2 until 7 p.m. today.
