Perry Putnam

RINGGOLD Perry Lee Putnam, who was blessed and highly favored, 73, died on Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012, in a local hospital.He was born in Saginaw, Mich., to the late Roy and Elizabeth Mead Putnam. Perry and his late wife, Gearldean, were the owners of the Country Bumpkin Restaurant for 15 years. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and was preceded in death by his brother, Max Putnam.Survivors include his son, Michael Putnam, Summerville, Ga.; stepsons, Jack (Charlene) McLemore, Ringgold and Mike (Carolyn) Shadwick, Ringgold; stepdaughters, Carolyn (Raymond) Payton, Newnan, Ga. and Sherry (Ken) Garner, Ringgold; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Carol Harrison and Rev.
