DUNLAP Mr. Charles Rex "Jim" Presto, 65, died Friday morning, Nov. 16, 2012, at his home surrounded by his family.He was born in Spangler, Pa., on March 2, 1947 to Charles Rex Presto Sr. and Della Patterson Presto who preceded him death along with his father-in-law, Ralph Layman.At the age of 6, his family moved to Painsville, Ohio. He and his wife ran Jims Garage in Dunlap for 30 plus years. He was a Vietnam veteran of the United States Marine Corps.He is survived by his wife, Sheila Layman Presto; sons, Jeff Presto and Trent Burtrum; daughters, Tammi Presto Hurd and Sheri Presto Reed; sisters, Susan Salgado and Lori Long; grandchildren, Brett, Sam, Shelby, Madison, Wyatt and Brandon; mother-in-law, Arrietta Layman; a host of other loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Jim was a wonderful and caring husband, dad and Pa and will be sadly missed by his family.Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Monday in the Layne funeral home chapel at Palmer with burial to follow in Mansfield Cemetery with full military honors provided by the Sequatchie Valley Honor Guard.Visitation: 1-9 p.m. today at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, Tenn. and 1-9 p.m. Sunday at Ewton Funeral Home, Dunlap, Tenn. www.laynefuneralhome.com.
