Delois Penney

ROSSVILLE Delois Juanita Roden Penney, 76, passed away Friday, Nov. 16, 2012.She was a lifelong resident of North Georgia and was of the Baptist faith. Lois worked for Winn-Dixie Supermarkets for many years and retired from Wal-Mart in Fort Oglethorpe.She was preceded in death by her husband, James Penney; parents, Virgil and Margaret Ellis Roden; and brothers, Junior, Alan and Bobby Roden. Lois is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth and Lee Parrish, of Chickamauga; sister, Betty Roden Gray; brothers, Charles Roden, Earl Roden and J. C. Roden; grandchildren, Christa Parrish and Alex Parrish; and several nieces and nephews.A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 19, 2012, at Lakewood Memorial Gardens, South.The family will receive friends after noon on Sunday and prior to the service on Monday.Arrangements by W.L.
