Ben Cofer

Benjamin "Ben" Luther Cofer, of East Ridge, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012, in a local healthcare facility.He was retired after 30 years of services as an electrician to Norfolk Southern, was in the U.S. Navy Reserves, and attended First Church of the Nazarene.He was preceded in death by his parents, Caswell and Addie Cofer; one brother; and five sisters.Ben is survived by his wife, Christine Jones Cofer; daughter, Kim Cofer; son, Burt Cofer and stepson, Randy Caylor; sister, Margaret Culpepper; several grandchildren and nieces and nephews.Memorial services will be held at an later date.Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Advantage Funeral Cremation Services-Franklin-Strickland-Pinkard-Bryan-Smith Funeral Directors, 1724 McCallie Ave. 423-265-4414.
