Elsie Driscoll

Elsie Louise Driscoll, 73, passed away Friday, Nov. 16, 2012, at her home.She had been a resident of Chattanooga since 1991. Mrs. Driscoll was longtime member of St. Jude Catholic Church and was involved in Legion of Mary. She was a devoted wife for 54 years, loving mother, and loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She lit up the room with her smile and contagious laugh.Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Richard F. Driscoll; daughters, Patricia A. (Henry) Campbell, of Chattanooga and Joan M. (Chris) Beisel, of Virginia; sons, Richard F. (Pam) Driscoll Jr., James M. Driscoll and Joseph F. (Sandy) Driscoll, all of Virginia; sisters, Shelby Jean Cluesman, of Knoxville, Juanita Edgar, of Knoxville, Pearl McElroy, of Knoxville and Roberta Hart, of South Carolina; 16 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of Hospice of Chattanooga.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Catholic Church or your charity of choice.The Rosary will be 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 20, at St. Jude Catholic Church followed by visitation in the PLC.
