TRENTON Vallie Mae Holland Smith, 95, died Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012, at her residence.Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by parents, Joe and Lillie Headrick Holland; husband, Alex Smith; sons, Harley, Gayron, Thearl and Verley Smith; daughter, Leedell Smith Bethune; granddaughters, Shela Rucks, Valeria Seabolt; great-granddaughter, Chrystal Herod.Survivors include daughters, Arcell Clark, Trenton, Mabelle (Jimmy) Woods, Henagar, Thala (David) Segee, Trenton, Theda (Joe) Johnson, Cedar Bluff; daughters-in-law, Dean Smith, Sandy Pritchett, Arbutice Smith; sisters-in-law, Savanah Holland and Vara Holland; 21 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.She was a member of Floral Crest Seventh-day Adventist Church.Leave condolences online at www.cornerstonefuneralchapel.com.Funeral services are at 1 p.m. CST Friday, Nov. 23, at Corner Stone Funeral Chapel with Brother Kenneth Reeves officiating and burial in Poplar Springs cemetery.Family will receive friends from 2 to 8 p.m. today and 10 a.m. until service time.
