Tressie Rivers

Jr.Tressie T. Rivers Jr., 61, passed away Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012.He was a member of the Howard High School Class of 1969. He retired from Mueller Co. and was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lillie Bell Rivers and Tressie R. Rivers Sr.; grandmother, Lizzie Cross; sister, Lizzie P. Rivers; nephew, Delaney Thomas.He leaves to cherish his memories his loving and devoted wife, Barbara J. Rivers; sons, Adrian (Cicely) Turner and Tressie Rivers III; daughter, Deena (Tracy) Taylor, of Ringgold, Ga.; grandchildren, Cherisse, Diamond, Donminique, Adrian Jr., Darian and Tamia; great-grandchildren, Peyton and Jaliyah; brothers, Robert (Janice) Rivers, Timothy Rivers, both of Chattanooga; sisters, Gloria J. (Michael) Rivers, of Chattanooga, Deborah (Leamon) Woodley, of Washington; special friends Mr. and Mrs. Michael Frye, other relative and friends.Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. today, Nov. 24, 2012 at Miracle Missionary Baptist Church.Interment: Greenwood Cemetery.The body will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the service today.Arrangements by John P.
