Jr.SOUTH PITTSBURG Charles "Goodboy" Allen Jr., 69, died Thursday, Nov. 22, 2012 at his home.The son of the late Charles Anderson and Grace Ann Walden Allen, he was a former player and proud supporter of South Pittsburg Pirate Football. He was a former iron worker and owned and operated the Kimball Shell for many years.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Scotty and Tony Allen; sisters, Margie Stewart and Elizabeth Pittman; and brothers, James Allen and John Stewart.He is survived by four sisters, Janie (Neil) Kirkpatrick, Annabelle Allen, Jean Murray and Linda "Cooter" (Wayne) Willis, all of South Pittsburg; dear friends, Martha Peden, of South Pittsburg and Josh Echegaray, of Jasper; several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be conducted from the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home today, Nov. 26, 2012, at 1 p.m. CDT with Rev.
