Percy Ward

Percy L. Ward, 76, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012. He was born Sept. 23, 1936 to the late L. C. Ward and Molly Hampton.His most joyous accomplishment and life experience took place on the day he gave his life to the Lord Jesus Christ. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, L.C. Ward, Jr. and Jerry Ward.He leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Carlos Harrison, Ronald Wood, Keith and Kim Harrison, Tyrone Lewis, Karen Harrison, Anthony, Tamika, Lakeida and Lakeesha Howard; siblings, Mattie Greenwood, of Chicago, Dorothy Parmes, Charles and Deanna Ward, all of Chattanooga, Mary Ann and Walter Blanton, Michael Ward all of Chicago, Anthony and Deborah Smith, of Atlanta; special life-long friend, Margorie Howard, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.Funeral services will be held at noon Tuesday, Nov. 27, in the funeral home chapel. Interment: Highland Memorial Gardens. The body will lie in state after noon today and the family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m. this evening at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Avenue, 622-9995.
