Imogene Wyatt

Imogene Forester Wyatt passed away Monday,Nov. 26, 2012. She was born in Bessemer, Ala. on March 3, 1928.She retired from South Central Bell on December of 1979 after 35 years of service. She began as a telephone operator, working her way up to a supervisory position in the Treasury Department. Mrs. Wyatt was a former member of The First Baptist Church of Pelham.She was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Mr. Charles C. Wyatt; and her parents, Louise Forester and Robert E. Forester.She is survived by her niece, Suzanne Foster that she considered to be her daughter and husband, Stephen; their children, Laurie Pedersen and Stephen Foster; other nieces, Kathleen (Darrell) Greer, Margaret (Frank) Dittrick, Mary Ellen (Sam) Galloway; and nephews, Robert (Sue) Forester, David (Patricia) Stevenson and John W. (Jennifer) Stevenson; and cousin, Helen Holmes.The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 30, 2012 with the service starting at 2 p.m. at Southern Heritage Funeral Home.The family would like to give a special thanks to her dearest friends, Doris Dean Naymon and Imogene Holly for their years of friendship and support, Morning Pointe Assisted Living in Ooltewah and Chattanooga Hospice.In lieu of flowers the family request donation to the Chattanooga Hospice or a Humane Society of your choice.
