Janette Crawley

Janette Crawley, 79, of Chattanooga, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012.Mrs. Crawley was born in Scottsboro, Ala., to Gerald and Lorene Castle. She was a graduate of Central High School and the University of Chattanooga where she belonged to the Alpha Delta Pi Sorority.Janette was a member of Bayside Baptist Church and retired from Central High School as the Home Economics Teacher. She was also a member of Freedoms Foundation, and Alpha Kappa Delta Sorority.Surviving are her husband, Mack S. Crawley; daughter, Cheryl Elizabeth Crawley; son, Keith Crawley and wife, Lesha; granddaughters, Emily Taylor Crawley and Abby Elizabeth Crawley; and sister, Doris Salley, of Dallas, Texas.She was preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law, Dickey Salley.Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today and 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home.Funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 30, 2012 at the funeral home with Rev. Bob Stitts Mason officiating.
