Sr.Jerry Garth Sr., 51, was called home to be with the Lord on Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012.He was a faithful member of Olivet Baptist Church.He was preceded in death by his son, Jerry Garth Jr.He is survived by his mother, Mary Garth; children, Jerria, Tyrone and Stanley Garth; two grandchildren; sisters, Lillie Clopton, Mae, Betty and Susan Garth; brothers, Willie and Edward Garth; special aunts, Lillie Smith, Polly Sanders and Annie Garth; uncles, David and Leroy Garth, all of Chattanooga; a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.Funeral services will be held at Olivet Baptist Church at 11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 30, 2012 with Pastor Kevin Adams Sr., as Eulogist.Burial in Highland Cemetery.The body will lie in state after noon today and the family will receive friends from 7 8 p.m. this evening at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., 622-9995.
