Nancy Geren

Nancy Margeurite Carlisle Geren, 47, of East Ridge, died Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012.She was born Sept. 15, 1965 in Richmond, Va. She loved being a Mom. Her family was very important to her. Mrs. Geren was a member of Charity Baptist Church where she worked with the children. She was a graduate from Ridgeland High School and received her BS degree from Liberty University. Mrs. Geren worked in career education for the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.She was preceded in death by her father, William Garland Carlisle.Survivors include her husband, William D Geren; daughters, Rachel A. Geren and Michelle F. Geren; mother, Nancy I. Carlisle; mother-in-law and father-in-law, John and Brunetta Geren; sisters-in-law, Sondra (Greg) Jennings and Tammy (Ken) Phillips; nephew, Matt Phillips; cousins, John Carter and Jeannie Carter; and an aunt, Fannie Bennett.Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30, in the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Pastor John Carter officiating.Interment will follow in Johnson Cemetery.The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. today.Please share your thoughts and memories at www.chattanoogaeastchapel.com.Chattanooga Funeral Home, East Chapel, 404 S.
