David Nickens

David Brian Nickens, 47, of East Ridge, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012.He was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga and was of the Christian Faith. He was formerly employed by Arcade Marketing for 15 years. David was a kind, honest, hardworking man. Hell always be remembered for his laughing eyes, his generous spirit and his pure heart. He will be missed by all that knew him.David was preceded in death by his father, William Nickens and siblings, Pat, Suzie and Mike.He is survived by his wife, of 14 years, Lynn Nickens; mother, Billie Ruth Nickens; stepdaughter, Sherrie (Gary) Brown, of Chattanooga; sister, Vicki Brooks, of East Ridge; brothers, Jimmy Nickens, of Chickamauga, Richard Nickens, Mark Nickens, both of Kingsport, Tenn., and Kendall Nickens, of Fayetteville, Tenn.; three stepgrandchildren; two stepgreat-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012 in the funeral home chapel.The family will receive friends after noon today and prior to the service on Saturday.Arrangements by W.L.
