John McCuistion

IIJohn Franklin McCuistion II, 54 of Hixson, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012, at Erlanger Medical Center.John was born on Oct. 22, 1957 in Rockwood, Tenn. to Spring City natives Miles G and Barbara Ann Barton McCuistion.John was preceded in death by his grandparents, John F. McCuistion, Anna Rhea Dedrick McCuistion Cox, William E. "Bill" Barton, Mary R. Harrison Barton Scheuerman; and nephew, Graham Mitchell.Survivors other than his parents are sisters, Becky Mitchell, of Manchester, N.H., Beth (Ken) Kipp, of Wellfleet, Mass., and Mary Ann (Darren) Kipp, of Plainville, Mass.; brother, Miles G. McCuistion Jr., of Soddy-Daisy; and several nieces and nephews.A memorial service will be held Thursday at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Forgey officiating.Interment will follow in the family plot in Spring City Cemetery.The family will receive friends Thursday one hour before the service at the funeral home.
