Lloyd Rudder

Jr.Lloyd Rudder Jr., 73, of East Ridge, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012.Lloyd served his country in the U.S. Army-Special Forces during the Vietnam War. He retired from Southern Champion Tray after 30 years and was a safe and courteous truck driver for over 50 years.He was preceded in death by his mother, Gordon Louise Rudder; and stepfather, William T. Tucker.Lloyd is survived by his children, Lisa Kay Brooks, of Chattanooga, William Lamont Rudder, of Chattanooga, Charles Lloyd Wilson Rudder, of East Ridge, Adam Phillip Rudder, of Chattanooga and Jessica Marie Rudder, of East Ridge; sister, Addie Rawlings, of Chattanooga; grandchildren, Chasity Michelle Grant, of Chattanooga, Mark Russell Ramsey Jr., of Chattanooga, Maleigh Nicole Manley, of Huntsville and Jocelynn Ava Grace Rudder, of East Ridge; great-grandchildren, Brayden Cole Cupp, of Huntsville, Nicholas Bradlee McDaniel, of Huntsville and Hala McKenzie Grant, of Chattanooga; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.A Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012, at Spring Creek Church of God.Arrangements by W.L.
