Clemmie Gentry Banther, 90, of Harrison, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, Oct. 7, 2012.Clemmie was a member of Maple Grove Baptist Church.She was preceded in death by her husband, Jess Banther; parents, Samuel and Ardie Stokes Gentry; sister, Martha Lewis; brothers, Taylor Gentry, Charles Gentry, Sammy Gentry; grandchildren, Christopher Howell, Greg Neely; and son-in-law, Robert Harden.Clemmie is survived by her daughters, Jessie Harden, Glenda (Larry) Chadwick, Sherlene (Don) Rush, Artie (Steven) Prichard, Donna (David) Brady; son, Franklin (Connie) Banther; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will at 2 p.m., today, Oct. 9, at Maple Grove Baptist Church with Pastor Jeff Howell, Pastor Ronny Dotson, Pastor Grady Cooper officiating.Burial will be in McDonald Cemetery.Please share your thoughts and memories online at www.ChattanooganValleyViewChapel.com.Arrangements are by the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 7414 Old Lee Highway, Chattanooga, TN 37421.
