LaFAYETTE Bill Newberry, 60, died Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2012.Bill was a member of The Cowboy Church of LaFayette.Preceded in death by his parents, Humpy and Phyllis Newberry.Survived by loving wife, Ellen Nelson Newberry; daughter, Laurie (Rick) Burns; son, Scotty (Tiffany) Newberry, all of LaFayette; sister, Pat (Bobby) Prescott, of Ringgold; brothers, James (Wanda) Newberry and Bo (Vicki) Newberry, of Rock Spring; grandchildren, Brittany, Preston, Dakota, Levi, Ethan, Bailee, Adrianna, Halie, Gracie and Olivia; several nieces and nephews also survive.Memorial service from The Cowboy Church of LaFayette at 2 p.m. Thursday. Pastor Randy Harden officiating.Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. today.The arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette.
