Ola Honeycutt

RINGGOLD Ola M. Honeycutt, 94, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2012. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, William Edward Honeycutt, in October of 1991.Mrs. Honeycutt was a faithful member of Pine Grove Baptist Church in Ringgold; there she taught Sunday School and sang in the choir for many years. She will be remembered for her devotion to her Lord and her family. She was the last surviving child of Burless and Pearl Marona.Mrs. Honeycutt is survived by her sons, Bob (Evelyn) Honeycutt, of LaFayette, Bill (Rena) Honeycutt, of Panama City Beach, Fla., and Mel (Pam) Honeycutt, of Fort Oglethorpe; her daughter, Linda Stutz, of Chattanooga; her grandchildren, Tony (Kathy), Terry, Scott (Tami), Lisa (Keith), Cari (Jamie), and LaShawn; her great-grandchildren, Matt, Bryce, Cameron, Zach, Zander, Zevan, and Michael; three great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.The funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 12, 2012, in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home, 3239 Battlefield Parkway, Fort Oglethorpe.Committal will follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery. Dr. Ernest Groce will officiate. Mrs. Honeycutt's grandsons and other family members will serve as pallbearers.Friends may view a memorial tribute and share memories with the Honeycutt family by visiting www.heritagefh.com.
