RINGGOLD Ashlynn Taylor Veal, 15, went home to be with the Lord on her birthday, Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2012. You have to be a special angel to go on your 15th Birthday.Ashlynn was born in Chattanooga and raised in Ringgold. She was a student at Heritage High School and a member of First Baptist Church of Trion. She loved her friends, facebook enjoyed 4-wheeling, make-up, owls, and just being such an advocate of finding a cure for cancers and loving her family.She is survived by her mother, Desha "Mommy" (Gerald) Hawkins; father, Scotty (Leah) Veal; brother, John Payne II; sister, Lanie Mae Veal; stepbrother, Preston Hawkins; stepsister, Cassondra Hawkins; maternal grandmother, Vicki "Mama" (Porter) Mathis; maternal grandfather, David "Pop" (Kathy "Granna") Majors; paternal grandmother, Wanda Browning; paternal grandfather, Dewayne (Peggy) Veal; many loving aunts and uncles including, Shawn and Kelly and cousins, including Jordan; and special Great-grandfather, Bill McEntyre.The family will receive friends from noon to 2:30 p.m. with funeral services at 2:30 p.m. today at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 S. Moore Road, East Ridge, with the Rev.
