Madelene Oric

Madelene Oric, 81, of Chattanooga, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012, at her husbands side.Madelene was born and raised in Chattanooga. She retired from Hamilton County Schools having worked at Bess T. Shepherd Elementary as a secretary. She was of the Christian faith, and enjoyed reading and playing bridge.Surviving are her husband of 63 years, Jim Oric; daughters, Janet Oric of The Villages, Fla., and Nan (Robert) MacKenzie, of Canton, Ga,; and granddaughter, Savannah MacKenzie.She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Mildred Cox; brother, Luther L.
