Julia Mae "Judy" Frost Stamper Sims, of Chattanooga, passed away Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012.She was a member of New Salem Baptist Church.She was preceded in death by her mother, Mattie L. Frost; father, Daniel Coney; son, David Todd Frost; stepfather, R. J. Frost; granddaughter, Kimore Stamper.She is survived by her sons, Emmanuel Stamper Jr., Corey E. Stamper, of Albion, Mich., Jason C. Stamper; daughter, Bridgette S. Sims-Avant, of Chattanooga; 29 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one daughter-in-law, Marquette Frost; sisters, Charlotte (Joe) Robinson, Shirley Greene Woods, Bazalene Wright, Darlene Coney, Diane Robinson, Virginia Davis; brothers, Robert Frost, Richard (Hineatha) Frost, Theron (Cheryl) Frost, Milton Coney; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins; special friends, Cecil Smith, James Hanes, other relatives, and friends.Funeral Service 1 p.m. Saturday at New Salem Baptist Church with Pastor Andre Sharpe officiating.The family will receive friends at the church from 6:30-8 p.m. today.Interment, Naomi Cemetery.Arrangements by Willis Funeral Home, Dalton.
