Burley Paul

Burley Randolph Paul, 85, of Red Bank, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012, at her home with her family.A devout and faithful Christian, she was a member of the White Oak Church of Christ. She was a graduate of Red Bank High School, Class of 1945, and McKenzie Business College. Burley was a resident of Sequatchie County, the Good Hope community, for 35 years and was retired from USDA, ASCS in 1991 with 19 years' service.Burley was the daughter of the late J.A. and Blanche Randolph and was preceded in death by her loving husband, Thomas G. Paul; brothers, Garnett, Arthel and Doyle Randolph and sister, Thelma Randolph Gann.Survivors are son, Dr. George F. Paul (Verna), of Decatur, Tenn.; granddaughter, Missy Paul Millard (Brian), of Athens, Tenn.; grandsons, Thomas G. Paul, II (Yvonne), of Chattanooga, Tenn., and Jack P. Paul (Angie), of Knoxville, Tenn.; great-grandchildren, Autumn Millard, Chloe Paul, Ashley Millard, Briley Paul, and Camden Paul; sisters, Elsie R. Bischell, Red Bank, Tenn., Nelsie R. McKinney (Eugene) of Nashville, Tenn.; sister-in-law and special friend, Marion L. Randolph, Red Bank, Tenn.; several nieces and nephews.The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 29, at Lane Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30, at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace with Minister Jim Dearman officiating. Interment will follow in Chattanooga Memorial Park.The family would like to thank the staff of Amedisys Hospice for their concern and care.
