Edwin Giacomozzi

Edwin Giacomozzi, 81, of Collegedale, passed away Saturday, Aug. 25, 2012, at a local healthcare facility.He was a retired electrician from Southern Adventist University, and a veteran of the Korean conflict, serving in the U.S. Army. He was a member of McDonald Road Seventh-day Adventist Church.He was preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy Hill Giacomozzi.He is survived by his wife, Iris Westbrook Giacomozzi; sons, Larry Giacomozzi, Kent Giacomozzi and Bryan Giacomozzi; stepson, Mitchell Westbrook; stepdaughter, Gail Frenandez; brother, Bob Giacomozzi; also, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.Memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Monday, Sept. 3, 2012 at McDonald Road Seventh-day Adventist Church, with Pastor Don Gettys, David Turner and Pastor Fred Fuller officiating.Burial will follow at Collegedale Memorial Park.Visit www.heritagefh.com to share words of comfort to the family.Memorial contributions may be made to Amedisys Hospice, 7161 Lee Highway, Chattanooga, TN 37421.The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Monday at McDonald Road Seventh-day Adventist Church.Arrangements are by Heritage Funeral Home, 7454 East Brainerd Road, Chattanooga, TN 37421.
