Thomas Crosslin

Rev. CLARKSVILLE The Rev. Thomas R. "T.R." Crosslin, 71, died Monday, Aug. 27, 2012.He was born Nov. 13, 1936 in Hot Springs, Ark., son of the late Florine and Harvey Crosslin. He was a faithful servant of God and retired in 2010 from the Christian Methodist Episcopal Church where he pastored for over 56 years. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Mary Williams Crosslin; children, Dennis Venye (Elise) Williams and Rhonda (Billy Ray) Neal; brother, Charles Robert (Janet) Crosslin, Nebraska; sister, Helen George, of Chicago, Ill.; grandchildren, Aaron (Ratica) Williams, Gary "OJ" Young and Jonathan Williams; great-grandchildren, Trevon and Aryn Williams; sister-in-law, Betty George and Clara Williams; brothers-in-law, E. Hyburnia (Beverly) Williams, Eugene (Shirley) Williams and Felix Barbour Sr.: devoted cousin, Mary Fisher, Phoenix, Ariz.Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2012, at St. Luke Christian Methodist Episcopal Church in Nashville.Interment will be in Casey Cemetery, Oakwood, Tenn.Visitation will be noon to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2012, with the family present 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.Foston Funeral Home, 816 Franklin St., Clarksville, TN 37040, 931-647-5451.
