DUNLAP Fred C. Ames, 71, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2012, at his home.He was a veteran of the United States Army.Mr. Ames was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Helen Norris Ames; and mother, Genvieve Ames.Survivors include his father, E.B. Ames; son, Tyrone (Audrey) Ames, Soddy-Daisy; daughter, Tammy (Troy) Lockhart, Dunlap; brother, Dick (Rose) Ames, Spokane, Wash.; grandchildren, Josh Ames, Courtney Ames, Samantha Lockhart and Michele Lockhart; great-grandchildren, Brandon Ames, Cameron Ames and Tiffany Hoover; and great-great-grandson, Dylan Griswold.Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. CDT Friday, Sept. 7, 2012, in the Ewton Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Brian Kearns officiating.Burial will follow in Sequatchie County Memorial Gardens.Visitation 2-8 p.m. CDT today.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made the Sequatchie County Veterans Memorial Park, P.O.
