Edna Armer

Edna Mae Lancaster Armer, 91, of East Ridge, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2012. Edna moved to East Ridge in 1943 from Rome, Ga., was from the Baptist Faith and retired from Rossville Yarns after 30 years of employment. Edna was preceded in death by her husband, Lake F. Armer; parents, Robert Howard and Mary Lou Phillips Lancaster; sisters, Bertha McCormick, Opal Hurst, and Betsy Faulkner; brothers, Harold Lancaster, Floyd Lancaster, and James Lancaster.She is survived by several nieces and nephews.A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. today, at Lakewood Memorial Gardens-South. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. today. Arrangements by W. L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home-Fort Oglethorpe.
