Jr.FORT OGLETHORPE Clark Castle "Ricky" Woodfin Jr., 58, passed away Monday, Sept. 10, 2012.Clark served in the United States Navy for 14 years and was in the Vietnam War. He was a member of Peaceful Valley Baptist Church in Rising Fawn.He was preceded in death by his father, Clark Castle Woodfin Sr.; sisters, Joyce Faye Conn and Deborah Elaine Woodfin.He is survived by his mother, Cora Mae Woodfin; wife, Julia Sampley Woodfin, both of Fort Oglethorpe; children, Adam Woodfin, of Fort Oglethorpe, Michael (Holly) Woodfin ,of Rossville, Joseph (Jennifer) Woodfin, of East Ridge, Mary White, of Fort Oglethorpe; sister, Shirley (W.C.) Wingo, of Chickamauga; 11 grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 13, 2012 in the chapel with Rev. Eric Greeson officiating.The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. today and prior to the service Thursday at the funeral home. Arrangements are by W. L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home-Fort Oglethorpe.
