Shirley Ann Fears, 66, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2012 at a local hospital.She retired from Arcade Inc. in 2009.She was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Simmons.Survivors include her daughters, Sonia, Christina, Alberta "Dee Dee" Fears; mother, Minnie Cunningham; grandchildren, Tierra, Tyra, Michelle, Montrell and Davonte Fears; great-grandson, Gioriyun, Fears; sisters, Ethel (John) Cooper, Chicago; Louise Miller, Patricia Cunningham, Virginia Lowery, Elnora Cunningham, of Chattanooga; Sandra Hurt and Roxanna Harney, of Nashville.Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2012 in the chapel with Pastor Alfred Johnson officiating.Interment at 12:30 p.m. at Ruth Cofer Cemetery.The body will lie in state after noon today at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Avenue, 622-9995.
