Junior Gallion

ROSSVILLE Junior Joe Gallion, 74, died Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2012.He was the son of the late David and Margaret Caraway Gallion. Junior was a lifelong resident of the North Georgia area and member of the Battlefield Parkway Church of the Nazarene. He was the owner of G & G Restaurant Equipment and retired from IJ Food Service. Junior was the former manager of M & Js and Red Food Store. He was the past Lieutenant Governor of the Optimist Club and past president of the Brainerd Optimist Club. Junior was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Gallion Rosamond.Survivors include his wife, Barbara Davis Gallion; son, Jerry Gallion; daughter, Angelia Williams; stepdaughter, Tonya (Steve) Plemmons; brothers, Charles (Jenny) Gallion, Johnny (Tyra) Gallion, Mark Gallion and Terry Gallion; sisters, Janice (Jim) Jones and Wanda (Jim) Mills; brother-in-law, Al Rosamond; grandchildren, Rick (fianc, Jennifer Gann) Williams and Tiffany (Scott) Paquette; step-grandchildren, Brooke (Dave) Jones, Amber (Bryan) Holzhey, Cayla Plemmons, Chelsa and Tiffany; stepgreat-grandsons, Blake and Christopher; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, at the Battlefield Parkway Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Joe Brown officiating.
