PALMER Malery E. "Jesse" James, 83, passed away Friday, Sept. 21, 2012 surrounded by his family.Jesse retired from Signal Mountain Cement Plant and was of Congregational Methodist faith.He was preceded in death by his children, Roland, Patsy and Danny James; parents, Albert and Ruby James; brothers, Billy, Neal "Dick", Tommy and Rev. Malcolm James.Those left to cherish his memories are his wife of 62 years, Ruby Nell; Shrum James, of Palmer; children, Gail (Bill) Ross, of Laurel, Mass., Richard (Rhonda) James, of Shelbyville, and Dennis James, of Palmer; sisters, Mary (Ed) ONeal, of Whitwell, Dian James and Teresa (Mike) Cordell, both of Palmer; brother, Howell "Harold" (Martha) James, of Palmer; grandchildren, Michelle (Davy) Fenton, Alissa (Larry Ray) Gilliand, Stephanie (Matt) Garrett, Kelli (C.J.) Gant, Kurtis (Christie) James and Tiffany (Chuck) Sims; 19 great-grandchildren.Family will receive friends 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 24, 2012.Funeral service is 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 25, in the funeral home chapel with Rev.
