Sarah Crow

RISINGFAWN Sarah Alice Overton Crow, 78, passed away Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012 after a lengthy illness. She had lived in Cape Coral, Fla. for most of her life before moving to the North Georgia area two years ago. She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed life to the fullest, with shopping, traveling and crafts. She was preceded in death by her parents, Guy and Dorothy Overton; son, Kendall E. Crow; and brother, Kenneth Lamar Overton.Survivors include her two children, Thomas Guy Crow, of Dalton, Ga., and Melinda Crow Cooper, of Hainesville, Ga.; brother and sister-in-law, Wallace Guy and (Bernice) Overton, of Dalton, Ga.; sisters and brothers-in-law, Elizabeth and (Bob) Ward, of Cohutta, Ga., Ruth and (Tim) Shrum of Rising Fawn, Ga., and Brenda and (Ralph) Cline, of Tunnel Hill, Ga.; four grandchildren, Heather Dawn Crow, Tommy Jay Crow, Bridgett Ashley Crow and Matthew Lee Crow and several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 25, in the Fort Oglethorpe Chapel with Pastor Gene Strauss officiating. Burial will be private.The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the time of service on Tuesday at the funeral home. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to all of the Hutcheson Hospice Staff, Nurses and Doctors for all of their care and dedication for Ms. Crow, especially caregivers, Paula Conaway & Margrett Stephens.
