RINGGOLD Jeffrey "Jeff" Shane Dean, 42, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, April 2, 2013.He was a lifelong resident of the North Georgia area and was a member of Westside Missionary Baptist Church. He was the owner and operator of Jeff Dean Trucking for more than 10 years and enjoyed hunting, fishing and loved spending time outdoors. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed spending time with his family and loved watching his children and grandchildren play sports. He was a loving and devoted father and grandfather that will be greatly missed by all who knew him.He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gordon and Marie Dean; and grandfather, Carl McAllister.Survivors include his parents, Jimmy and Wanda Dean; daughter and son-in-law, Ashley (John) Wiggins; son, Justin Dean; brothers, Faron Dean and Greg Dean; sister and brothers-in-law, Meleisa (John Solomon) Ware, all of Ringgold, Ga., and Tami and (George) Hartman, of Rossville; three grandchildren, Brody, Connor and JayLynn; grandmother, Edna Fowler; several nieces and nephews and numerous extended family and friends.Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 5, 2013 in the Wallis-Stewart Chapel with Pastor Jeremy Fincher and Pastor Gary Lewis officiating.Burial will follow in Catoosa Memory Gardens.The family will begin receiving friends after 2 p.m. today and prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home.An online register book may be signed at www.wilsonfuneralhome.com.Arrangements are by Wilson Funeral Home Wallis-Stewart Chapel Ringgold.
