Christopher Olivas

Christopher Ray Olivas, 54, of Hixson, died Tuesday, April 2, 2013, in Chattanooga.He was born May 14, 1958 in Lebanon, Tenn. He was preceded in death by his father Armando Olivas; brothers Gerald Lee Olivas and Jerry Xavier Olivas; grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Olivas and Mr. and Mrs. Gloster Guffey. He was a member of Hillside Baptist Church and was an avid outdoorsman.Survivors include his mother Frankie Olivas; sisters Amanda (Charles) Tanner and Karen (Mikey) Glenn as well as several nephews.Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, April 6, 2013, in Hamilton Memorial Gardens with Pastor Steve Cape officiating.Memorial donations may be made to Hillside Baptist Church, 6311 Dayton Blvd, Hixson, TN 37343.Please share your thoughts and memories at www.chattanooganorthchapel.com.Arrangements are by Chattanooga Funeral Home, North Chapel, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson.
